Almost New Year and new blog layout

Well, the end of 2010 is coming closer and closer now, only a few days to go and once again a lot of people all over the world will make lists what they want to do in the upcoming year. I am more reasonable and know exactly that it would be a waste of time as I barely stick to it anyways ... lol.

Instead it's that time of the year again to look back at all the ups and downs and adjust the expectations. It could have been worse and it could have been better as well, but it was not a wasted year and now the time has come to change the general attitude and work harder to reach the goals. A new and improved blog layout also symbolizes a "fresh" start and hopefully I will be able to blog more regularly.

The main focus while playing poker changed slightly and the overall motivation is not as high as it used to, let's hope that is just a direct influence of the extended downswing that I experienced where I was mostly break even in 2010. More theory and reading is required to gain more knowledge about Omaha and Seven Card Stud (both Hi and Hi Lo) and I should focus on playing shorter sessions on either HeadsUp or 6max tables and play 4-8 tables simultaneously.

Right now work has the highest priority and if I find enough spare time I will try to play more, but maybe it's also good to take a break for now and mainly focus on getting everything else done and also prepared for the near future as well. Best of luck to all on and off the tables!
