Body and Soul

When it is dark outside,

And there is nowhere to hide,

You feel so alone,

Crawling under the nearest stone.

Don’t close your eyes,

Or you will stay in disguise,

Trust me and see,

How beautiful the world can be.

The balance between body and soul,

Is the ultimate goal,

You have to focus your mind,

Otherwise it will leave you blind.

Nobody can tell you,

What you shall do,

Coz deep in your heart,

You should know where to start.

Standing still,

Doesn’t offer any thrill,

And no progress at all,

Is a step to downfall.

Changes don’t happen without pain,

And this might drive you insane,

But you have to stay strong,

This way you can’t go wrong.

In a world so unfair,

Don’t be afraid to share,

You might have not been aware,

But there are people who care.

Don’t go in defense,

And search for that balance,

It will be a tough fight,

But there is sunshine in sight.
