Write-ah-ments

Well it has been quite some time since I last blogged about personal and poker related stuff, the latter pretty obvious due to the reason that I haven't played much as of lately. The current workload is taking a fair bit of my time and you know it yourself, if you don't "feel it", it doesn't make much sense to sit down at the tables and play seriously. Just for fun would fit nicely as of right now and I am not sure either if that will change anytime soon.

Work itself goes well and I also picked up a small writer job with short strategy articles, nothing too crazy but it's refreshing for the mind to write strategy again besides tournament coverages, news articles and trip reports. We are creatures of habit and tend to do things that we are good at, for me that seems to be writing and I never had any issues with it ... dang, my school teachers would actually be proud, at least I hope so. I still remember those tortures in class and now it all pays off, yet when we were younger we "knew" it was a waste of time. Hah!

So we are actually in the middle of October and the following picture describes me best I'd say:

I am planning my schedule for the rest of this year and if I am fortunate enough, I will do the live tournament coverage for Team770 for the following events:

- EPT Loutraki / Greece
- WPT Marrakech / Morocco (not sure yet)
- WPT Prague
- EPT Prague
- BPS Namur (undecided so far)

All the above tournaments take place between Mid November and Mid December, so "worst case" I will be pretty busy to get this and all my regular work done. But I'd always take that over no work and it is just a matter of multitasking and organizational skills anyways.

Besides that I have also submitted articles for the upcoming Poker Shark Magazine that should be published any time soon as well, just hit up their linked websites to read the interactive and FREE eMagazine.

Unfortunately the schedule above also means that I most likely won't make it to Canada again this year for another trip, but that is on the to-do-list for 2012 as I would love to see some friends again and the distance sucks big time. Ah well, that was all for now ... time to write more short articles and prepare the day-to-day work for Monday.
